Safeguarding Part 2 and Coalfield Regeneration Trust Funding

This event will introduce you to funding opportunities through the Coalfields Regeneration Trust.  

Steve and Lynn from the Trust will be attending between 11 and 12.30 to update members about the Coalfields  Community Investment Programme with comprehensive information about  newly revised programme and eligibility criteria for funding up to  £10,000 for projects focusing on Employment, Health & Wellbeing  and/or Skills. They will also provide information on the FREE support  available through the Trust’s Community Investment Programme.  

Ensuring that VCS groups have a unified and consistent approach to Safeguarding policies and procedures 

In  January, in association with Magpie Training, we delivered a  Safeguarding Training session to ensure that member groups were updated  with the latest Safeguarding requirements. Member’s feedback at the  meeting outlined a need to be supported through: 

“Providing help writing a policy for use with grant applications” 

“A Review of current policies and procedures” 

“Developing Policies and Procedures” 

While  the importance of Safeguarding across the sector is a given ensuring  that access to Grant’s is equally important. Based on the feedback we  have developed an interactive event to look at some of the issues, share  knowledge and experience. 

With all of those things in mind we have developed a further Safeguarding event to help address some of those issues.
